My favorite holiday is the Spring Festival. It is also named the Chinese New Year. The holiday comes in January or February. A series of colorful celebration activities begin on new year"s eve, the last day of the last lunar month. Chinese New Year has long been an occasion for family reunions. During this holiday, my families will get together to make dumpings and have big feasts. Adults set off firecrackers. In the evening, we children can enjoy fireworks or play with latern. Some students put the earth back to the holes. Then we pushed the earth hard with our feet . At last we watered the trees as much as possible.
